Invasive Species Management
Pandion provides solutions to invasive species and animal outage issues. For example, Monk Parakeet infestation on power lines and substations causes significant electrical reliability, health, and safety problems.
To address this expanding problem, Pandion provides technical assistance on the biology and management of Monk Parakeets. We have conducted extensive research to develop strategies that reduce Monk Parakeet nesting on electric utility structures.
